Class Details
Level: Beginner Instructor: Mary Cost: $40 Wondering where to start to make a T-Shirt quilt with your favorite shirts or for a loved one? Let Mary help you learn how to stabilize stretchy knits and make the most of those great graphics. Her experience from years of making commission quilts for others will provide ideas for you! Monday, November 16 @ 10am-12pm Supply List: -Rotary Cutter with a sharp or new blade -Rotary Ruler Suggested: 6 or 6 ½” x 24” and a square at least 12 ½” -With typical shirt graphics, you will want ½ yd of French Fuse for each 3-4 shirts. If desired, pre-shrink French Fuse by soaking in warm water in a sink and hang to air dry. DO NOT machine wash! Shrinkage is minimal. This step may be skipped. -At least one t-shirt to learn technique. You may bring as many as you like, especially if you have questions about the heat resistance of the graphics or have other questions about how to handle a shirt. -If you are adding a complementary border around the shirts, a fat quarter per shirt is good. If you would like help choosing coordinating fabrics, anyone at Harper’s is happy to help. The sample t-shirt quilt is an example for this option.


Class Schedule
Cancellation Policy
We must make our commitment to our instructors one week before the start of their class. Therefore, refunds are available when your cancellation is made ONE WEEK BEFORE THE CLASS, less a $5.00 handling fee. After that, no refunds or credits can be given. If Harper’s must cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, individuals registered for that class will be contacted and given the choice of a full refund or the substitution of another class.
