Level: Confident Beginner Prerequisite: Intro to Sashiko Instructor: Cynthia Cost: $50 This all purpose beauty will become a “go- to” bag for tools, projects or household objects. You can adjust the size as desired! Embroidered with sashiko, traditional stitching or let the fabric take the stage. Come try this fun project! Wednesday, October 28, Nov 4 @ 6-8pm Supply List: -Sashiko book by Jill Clay -Pearl cotton in #5 & #8 sizes, color(s) of choice. Sashiko thread is a choice. -#22 chenille needles or size of personal choice. A longer than usual needle is traditionally used. Sashiko needles are a choice; be sure your thread passes through the eye of the needle. -½ yd Essex linen for outside of bag -½ yd Printed canvas -½ yd French fuse or wadding -½ yd lightweight backing fabric -12 pieces Drawstring loop fabric (4”x3”) -2 pieces-36” long cord -9” x 9” peltex stabilizer -Decorative bead (Optional) -Standard preferred sewing supplies (rotary cutter, ruler, scissors, etc.) -Your sewing machine in good working order or reserve one from us

Cancellation Policy
We must make our commitment to our instructors one week before the start of their class. Therefore, refunds are available when your cancellation is made ONE WEEK BEFORE THE CLASS, less a $5.00 handling fee. After that, no refunds or credits can be given. If Harper’s must cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, individuals registered for that class will be contacted and given the choice of a full refund or the substitution of another class.
