Learn the basics (and the vocabulary) of Machine Quilting!
Class Details
Level: Beginner Instructor: Mary Cost: $50 Learn the basics of quilting on your domestic sewing machine. Mary will teach you what you need to know to do your own quilting. A kit is provided for the class. Bring any tops you are wondering how to quilt, we will come up with a design you can do yourself with confidence. Tuesday, November 10 @ 1-4pm Supply List: Your machine in good working condition [or reserve one of ours] If you have one, an extension table for your machine Your owner's manual A walking, even feed, or dual feed foot—unless you own a Pfaff with the IDT. A new needle, preferably an 80/12 Sharp or Microtex needle. (75/11 or 90/14 Quilting needles will also work) Aurifil, Mettler or Gutterman 50 wt. thread. Dark or bright colors preferred. Mechanical pencil Seam ripper Seam gauge 10 Safety pins--either straight or bent. Thread snips or small scissors.


Class Schedule
Cancellation Policy
We must make our commitment to our instructors one week before the start of their class. Therefore, refunds are available when your cancellation is made ONE WEEK BEFORE THE CLASS, less a $5.00 handling fee. After that, no refunds or credits can be given. If Harper’s must cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, individuals registered for that class will be contacted and given the choice of a full refund or the substitution of another class.
