Class Details
Level: Confident Beginner Instructor: Mary Cost: $35 Not every quilt has a border. When a quilt has borders, these are some of the possibilities: cornerstone, mitered, long horizontal, long vertical, pieced, multiple. When do you use them? How wide should a border be? How do you attach them? Why might your borders be wavy? After Mary's class you will know the answers to these questions and more. See examples of these borders and understand the what, how and why to put borders on your quilt. This is a demonstration class. The students may want to bring a top that needs a border for discussion. However we will not be sewing in class. Thursday, February 19 @ 6-8pm
Class Schedule
Cancellation Policy
We must make our commitment to our instructors one week before the start of their class. Therefore, refunds are available when your cancellation is made ONE WEEK BEFORE THE CLASS, less a $5.00 handling fee. After that, no refunds or credits can be given. If Harper’s must cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, individuals registered for that class will be contacted and given the choice of a full refund or the substitution of another class.
