Adult Sewing Basics Skills [NEW CLASS]

Class Details

Level: Beginner -- Prerequisite of 'Driver's Ed for Sewing Machines' or sewing machine experience Instructor: Elaine Cost: $80 In this 2-session, 2-hour class you will learn easy, basic sewing skills. You will CREATE SAMPLES of the following techniques: successful markings from pattern to fabric, what are french seams & when to use them, gathering easily, accurately, and successfully, insert a five minute slot zipper, insert an invisible zipper & attaching bias tape and piping. At the end of the sessions you will now know simple techniques and skills that will help to achieve sewing success in all future sewing projects. The samples created in class can be taken as guides for future sewing projects. Two classes with all supplies provided, you simply need to bring a basic sewing kit! Saturday, September 16 & 30 @ 10am-12pm

Cancellation Policy

We must make our commitment to our instructors one week before the start of their class. Therefore, refunds are available when your cancellation is made ONE WEEK BEFORE THE CLASS, less a $5.00 handling fee. After that, no refunds or credits can be given. If Harper’s must cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, individuals registered for that class will be contacted and given the choice of a full refund or the substitution of another class.
